I work in a family care dotcors office. So i see all sorts of people. Honestly when it come to diabetics, the doctor may have you check their glucose level. Or she could have you draw blood on her to check her hemoglobin A1c.  Really there treated no differently than other pts. Ive been a medical assistant for about seven months now.
